Big Dot is an early series of hand-woven color change textiles which explore the effect of weave structure in color-change textiles. Herringbone twill is combined with a deflected weft structure. The herringbone twill structure is visible when the conductive yarn is heated and the color change ink changes color. By deflecting the conductive yarn in the weft, shapes are created in the color change ink as well. With IFM Design Studio.
